Our intentionally small size allows our community to authentically know one another. It fosters more meaningful connections between students, teachers and families. Teachers get to know the individual needs and strengths of each student and can support them to reach their goals.

Sion students develop a heart for service and a spirit of inclusion. Students have exposure to diverse religions, cultures, and socioeconomic status, as well as opportunities for international experiences. These opportunities will instill a broad understanding and appreciation for differences and encourage kindness for oneself, fellow students and humanity. Service is at the core of Sion - students are inspired to embrace their talents to contribute to the world around them.

Maisons (the french word for “house”)  are a core component of student life at both campuses. They introduce a consistent small group of students from different ages and grade levels who meet regularly for different experiences. This creates the opportunity for new relationships and friendships to form, as well as mentorship from older to younger students.

At our all-girls High School, girls take the center stage, occupying every seat in student government, every membership in the robotics club, and every position on the field. In fact, every aspect of a girls’ school - from the academic to the student life programming- is designed for girls.

One of the most influential aspects of Sion is the strength of our community. Our rich heritage and unique culture create relationships among students, parents, faculty and staff. At some point during students’ time at Sion, the community becomes family. A family for life. A family that spans generations and continents. When you graduate from Sion, you carry Sion in your heart long after your time within the halls.
