Notre Dame de Sion is an independent, Catholic school with a unique mission of building interfaith connections through mutual respect and dialogue. This mission is shared across our two campuses: our co-ed Grade School age 2 to 8th grade in Midtown Kansas City and our all-girls High School in South Kansas City.
The student body is composed of students from all over the Kansas City metro area and surrounding suburbs of Kansas and Missouri. We’re small by design, which means your family will join a supportive, close-knit community with a personalized approach to support your child’s interests, strengths, and needs.
For more than 110 years, Notre Dame de Sion has provided an educational experience that transforms the hearts and minds of our students. Rooted in the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Sion, our school is part of an international network of schools where students engage in a global exchange of ideas and cultures. In 1843, the Sisters established schools open to all levels of society and all religions. This openness transformed the way students learned about their place in history and the world. We continue to be committed to building open-minded learners that graduate as self-confident individuals with a desire to learn.
