Discounts
- Multi-Child - For families with more than one child enrolled in grades Montessori-12. (Discounts are not available for students in the Petite classroom.)
- Second Sibling - 15% tuition discount
- Third Sibling – 25% tuition discount
- Additional Siblings – Discount considered on an individual basis - Catholic Educator/Diocesan Employee – Families with a parent working full-time for a Catholic elementary or secondary school, Catholic college/university or the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph receive a $1,000 tuition discount per family. A completed Employment Verification form signed by an administrator of the qualified education institution or Diocesan entity, must be submitted annually, by June 15th, to qualify.
Merit and Academic Scholarships
Each incoming freshman that scores at or above the 80th percentile on the PreACT 8/9 administered at Notre Dame de Sion will automatically receive an academic scholarship. This scholarship is renewable each year through the student’s senior year, provided that she maintains the required Grade Point Average listed on the chart. (Please note, you must register and take the PreACT 8/9 at Sion to qualify for our academic scholarships).

Incoming Freshman Essay Scholarship
Sion offers scholarships to support the incoming class of 2030 ranging from $500 to $2,500. These scholarships are awarded based on essays submitted in response to the prompt below:
Notre Dame de Sion High School believes that moments of significant learning are achieved through experiences that allow students to connect to the real world, assert their independence, embrace ambiguity, and change their perception of the world. By connecting each student with her unique purpose, Sion graduates students who are well-rounded individuals, faith-filled global citizens, and servant leaders.
Please share what being a well-rounded individual, a faith-filled global citizen, and/or a servant leader means to you and why you have selected to apply to Notre Dame de Sion’s incoming Class of 2031. We would love to hear how your middle school accomplishments and participation have shaped your development and in what areas you plan to participate as part of our Sion community.
Essays are limited to 250 words and are open to early applicants only. Essays should be saved and submitted as a PDF. Responses are due by 4:00 pm on Friday, December 18, 2026 and should be emailed to Ms. Katie Glatz at kglatz@ndsion.edu. Scholarships will be awarded at the time of acceptance on January 15, 2027.
Need-Based Financial Aid
Notre Dame de Sion awarded over $1.2 million in financial assistance to 185 families at the High School in the 2025-26 academic year. Awards are made based on an analysis of a family’s financial need by an independent agency, an assessment of a student’s potential for academic success at Sion, and the School’s desire for a diverse and well-rounded student community.
Financial assistance at Sion is made possible by the generosity of donors including alumnae/alumnae families, current families, foundations and individuals committed to providing educational opportunities for deserving students.
Financial Aid Application Details
We partner with Ravenna Solutions in our financial aid process. To begin your financial aid application, you will complete the Ravenna Solutions Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) then submit the required documents for our school indicated below.
The PFS is a comprehensive application that will take some time to complete. Give yourself the time you need by not waiting until our deadline approaches. You’ll need your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS. We also recommend reviewing Ravenna Solutions resources to help families with the financial aid process. They are found at http://www.solutionsbysss.com/parents.
To make our decision, we use the information from the PFS as a starting point and consider our school policies, practices, and available budget.

Financial Aid Application Deadlines

Families are strongly encouraged to submit financial aid applications by Thurday, December 31, 2026. Late applications will be considered, but are subject to the remaining funds available. |
| Returning Students for 2027-28 School Year |
All returning families seeking or receiving financial aid or scholarship support must submit a Financial Aid Application each year. The Financial Aid Application for returning families is due Monday February 1, 2027. Your Financial Aid offer will be communicated by Monday, February 22, 2027 and will display in your enrollment agreement. Enrollment agreements must be completed by Friday, March 12, 2027 to secure your offer and seat. |
