Notre Dame de Sion Athletics Mission Statement:
Notre Dame de Sion’s athletic program is committed to the overall success of all our students through the intellectual, spiritual, and physical wellness of every individual. Participation in Sion athletics provides students the opportunity to grow and develop valuable life lessons through teamwork, self-discipline, courage, and perseverance. Sion scholar-athletes strive for excellence in any given sport while working hard to fulfill their potential in the classroom.
Message from the Athletic Department:
Sion's top-ranked athletic program encompasses 13 different sports and activities, enabling students of all grade levels and skills to participate. Participation in Sion athletics provides students the opportunity to be exposed to the valuable life lessons of teamwork, self-discipline, and courage, that can be used in their future. Our student-athletes strive for excellence in their given sport. At the same time, they work hard to fulfill their potential in the classroom and to be leaders and role models within our school.
Notre Dame de Sion High School is an independent non-conference school and is a member of the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA).
The athletic department is committed to excellence in athletics while supporting the educational mission of Notre Dame de Sion High School for Girls. Our mission is that all individuals associated with Sion Athletics (coaches, staff, student-athletes, alumni, and parents) value character traits developed through athletic participation. Our community has high standards for sportsmanship and conduct, and we expect our students and coaches to uphold these standards at all times. The athletic department is grateful for the support, energy, and enthusiasm of our student-athletes and coaches.
