Need-Based Financial Aid
Notre Dame de Sion awarded over $2.2 million in financial assistance to 126 families at the Grade School and 185 families at the High School in the 2024-25 academic year. Awards are made based on an analysis of a family’s financial need by an independent agency, an assessment of a student’s potential for academic success at Sion, and the School’s desire for a diverse and well-rounded student community.
Financial assistance at Sion is made possible by the generosity of donors including alumnae/alumnae families, current families, foundations and individuals committed to providing educational opportunities for deserving students.
Financial Aid Application Details
We partner with School and Student Services (SSS) in our financial aid process. To begin your financial aid application, you will complete the SSS Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) then submit the required documents for our school indicated below.
The PFS is a comprehensive application that will take some time to complete. Give yourself the time you need by not waiting until our deadline approaches. You’ll need your most recent tax return before beginning the PFS. We also recommend reviewing SSS resources to help families with the financial aid process. They are found at http://www.solutionsbysss.com/parents.
To make our decision, we use the information from the PFS as a starting point and consider our school policies, practices, and available budget.

How to complete your PFS
- Go to the SSS Family Portal.
- Create your Family Portal account with your email address and a password. If you applied for financial aid last year, log into the Family Portal as a Returning Family using your same email address and password.
- Complete a PFS for Academic Year 2025-26. You can log out at any time and return later to finish it.
- When all PFS sections are complete with green checks, the Submit & Pay button activates. Follow prompts to the payment screen. The $51 fee is nonrefundable. Once your PFS is submitted, it cannot be withdrawn from the SSS system.

8th grade girls who have completed their full application materials by Thursday, January 8th will receive their offer package by Friday, January 16, 2026.

If you are applying for financial aid, then we will need your full financial aid material by Tuesday, December 31, 2025 to receive an offer with a financial aid package by Friday, January 16, 2026.
Families are strongly encouraged to submit financial aid applications by December 31, 2025. Late applications will be considered, but are subject to the remaining funds available.
Returning Students for 2026-27 School Year
All returning families seeking or receiving financial aid or scholarship support must submit a Financial Aid Application each year.
The Financial Aid Application for returning families is due Sunday, February 1, 2026. Your Financial Aid offer will be communicated by Monday, February 23, 2026 and will display in your enrollment agreement. Enrollment agreements must be completed by Friday, March 13, 2026 to secure your offer and seat.
