Fall Shadow Days
8th grade girls will be paired with a current Sion student to experience a typical day for a Sion girl! This is one of the best ways to experience life at Sion. Shadow Days will be offered on select Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays through early December. The Shadow Day will run 9:00 am - 2:45 pm.

Volleyball Tailgate

All ages are welcome to tailgate with us as Sion takes on St. Pius in volleyball the evening of September 16th! Beginning at 5:30 pm, join us for food, pre-game activities and meet our mascot Stormy! JV game begins at 6:00 pm and Varsity begins at 7:00 pm.

High School Open House

Our Open House is a great opportunity for parents and students to explore the school together. You’ll join teachers and student ambassadors for a guided tour through Sion with mini presentations from Sion leaders and students to learn more about the Sion experience.
The guided experience will begin every 15 minutes and we ask that you sign up for a time slot in advance. We look forward to seeing you!
Inside Sion Night

7th and 8th grade students and families are invited to hear from a panel of current students, parents and alumnae for an “Inside” look at Notre Dame de Sion. Hear their perspectives on what makes Sion such a supportive and fun environment to grow and learn - followed by a casual Q&A!

Placement Test Prep Course

8:30 am - 1:00 pm
8th grade students are invited to join our optional test prep course. The course, taught by Sion’s incredible faculty, will cover the four content areas of the PreACT 8/9 as well as test taking strategies. The cost of this course is $100 and includes lunch. Registration fee is non-refundable after Wednesday, 11/12.
- Students may still register to take the Placement Test even if they do not take this Prep Course - the course is OPTIONAL
- Sion uses the PreACT 8/9 as the placement test and you can learn more here.
Admissions Placement Test

Registered students interested in attending Sion will take the PreACT 8/9. If your daughter needs accommodations during testing, please email our Admissions Director, Katie Glatz, with a current 504 or learning plan in order to register for extended test time.
