Tuition and Fees Schedule

Sion is committed to enrolling academically qualified students.

We recognize that for some families, the full tuition stretches resources beyond the family budget. Through Sion's financial assistance program, we strive to make a Notre Dame de Sion education possible for these families.

Technology Integration

At Sion, the integration of technology enhances learning through developmentally appropriate tools and resources. Sion students have access to their own device through our 1:1 program (iPads for grades K-4 / MacBook Airs for grades 5-8), as well as interactive whiteboards and full access to Google Apps for Education. Student technology experiences are aligned with the ISTE.

What is the fee for use of Technology?

  • The technology use fee for students in grades K-3 is $325.00 per school year (32 GB iPads).
  • The technology use fee for students in grades 4-8 is $475.00 per school year (11-inch MacBook Air laptops).

What does the Technology fee include?

  • The Device – The cost of the device is amortized over four years. At the end of the fourth year, the student may buy the device for a nominal fee or turn it back in.
  • Software and Applications
  • Protective Cover
  • Insurance for the Device
  • Support and Management for the Device

What is the fee and purchase framework for the computer as my student matriculates and/or graduates from Sion?

Sion also offers an After-School Enrichment Program for all students in Montessori students Montessori to 8th grade. After-school classes change quarterly, and some favorites include: robotics, drama, karate, Mandarin, Russian, Chinese, yoga, math club, dance, swimming and chess.

Students are able to participate in team sports through the Parochial League of Kansas City (PLKC). Sports include volleyball, basketball, and track and cross-country for students grades 3-8. Families are to pay athletic fees directly to the Parochial League of Kansas City.

Sion’s Extended Day Program (EDP) is available Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. During EDP, there is a snack,  indoor and outdoor play (depending on weather), and a 30-minute quiet study hall for grades 3-8. Families may choose an annual or 10-month payment plan. A daily rate is offered.

We are fortunate to have  GROW, kitchen & kids (formerly Future Foodies) provide Sion’s signature hot lunches again this year. Jackie Kincaid (1991 alumna) founded GROW, kitchen & kids after seeing the need to nourish, and in turn, educate students on healthy unprocessed foods. GROW, kitchen & kids is passionate about creating healthy, balanced, made-from-scratch school lunches, paying close attention to the ingredients, and is dedicated to sourcing from local producers, such as including McGonigle's meats and Farm to Market Bread. Families can feel confident that each meal is prepared fresh using quality ingredients, with balanced nutrition & attention to value.
