Learning at Sion
Notre Dame de Sion School is committed to preparing students to become successful 21st century global leaders by immersing them in opportunities for innovative learning. Our signature academic programs are created for students to have a personalized educational experience that provides the necessary skills and practices that enable lifelong learning and creative problem solving in a diverse and complex world.
Beginning with our Montessori classrooms, inquiry-, problem-, and project-based learning enriches the daily lives of our students and is supported by our school-wide technology 1:1 program. Sion’s personalized learning approach tailors the educational experience to the unique gifts, learning preferences, needs, and interests of each student. Students are led by a caring and dedicated faculty as they are empowered to become confident, motivated learners throughout their educational experience at Sion.
Full STEAM Ahead
Sion’s full-time STEAM coordinator works collaboratively with teachers to use science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics as a framework to guide inquiry, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and innovation in the classroom. Our K-8 curriculum highlights additional learning opportunities for creativity and innovation with both experiential and traditional classroom experiences.
