The Visual Arts at Sion encourage imaginative thinking, while students learn techniques and practice studio habits essential to the creative process. The art classes at Sion all build upon the elements and principles of design that are explored in the Dimensions of Visual Art (DIVA) class. Beyond that, the curriculum offered allows students to choose a medium in order to gain experience and a deeper understanding of processes. For the motivated art student seeking college credit during High School, Sion offers the year long AP Studio Art course.
