Gala Auction Item Donation
Thank you for your interest in donating an item, service, or experience to the 2023 silent or live auction. Rare, unique, desirable, and fun items and experiences are what make our auction not only exciting to attend, but successful as a fundraiser for our beloved school.
Please note that the deadline for donating an auction item is Wednesday, February 15, 2023. We appreciate your understanding that it takes time to process, photograph, and prepare hundreds of items for auction.

Items can be dropped off anytime during normal front desk hours at either the Grade School or High School Campus. Please fill out the form at the link below, print your confirmation email, and then drop off your item.

Donation Ideas
The Sion Gala Auction has an Amazon Registry comprised of single auction items, as well as items we will use to create packages. These items can be purchased online and shipped directly to the school. If you purchase and ship from the Amazon wish list, please still fill out the online donation form at the link above so we are aware of what will be coming and who to attribute the donation to.

Below is a list of additional ideas:
- Restaurant Gift Cards
- Nice bottles of wine, bourbon, or whiskey
- In-home dinners with a local chef
- Services such as home repair, interior decorating, window washing, car detailing, holiday light installation, and/or lawn maintenance.
- Unique art or home decor items
- Electronics such as Apple Home Pods, Alexa Devices, Ring Doorbells, Air Pod Pro or Max headphones, or iPads.
- Solo Stove or other fire pits
- Concert or theater tickets
- Suites for a sporting event, concert, or theater performance
- Tickets to a sporting event (Chiefs, Royals, Sporting KC, KC Current, KC Mavericks, KU, K-State, MU, etc.)
- Access to limos or town cars
- Spa Gift Cards
- Religious statues, art, rosaries, books, etc.
- Rounds of Golf at area courses
- An experience with a local celebrity or person of interest
- Timeshares, hotel stays, vacation homes, and/or airline miles
- Rare, hard to find, or hard to access items and/or experiences
- Take advantage of holiday and Black Friday specials! Consider picking up something for the auction as you do your holiday shopping!
- Sometimes restaurants are more willing to donate a gift card if you also purchase one. So consider purchasing a gift card and asking if they'll match it.
- Many restaurants offer gift card specials during the holidays. Consider taking advantage of these discounts by purchasing a gift card for the auction. Just be sure there isn’t an expiration date, or it is at least one year from the date of purchase!
- Print off this Item Donation Form and take it with you to businesses you frequent often and consider asking them for a donation. They are much more likely to say “yes” to someone who is already a customer!
- Think about your friends and family. Go through your contact list. Do any of them have connections or access to valued items, services, or experiences? If it’s appropriate, consider asking them for a contribution to the auction.
