Come support the excitement at this year’s annual Storm Stomp on Friday, October 19. The 3-on-3 basketball tournament (it’s just for fun, no skills required) raises money through sponsorships and team registrations for an endowed scholarship fund for financially qualified students. Currently, eight students each year receive a Storm Stomp scholarship to attend the high school campus.
In 2002, Kathryn Reintjes Ashley ’03 and Sarah Reintjes Kelly ’03 , launched the event as their senior service project. Each year, current high school students apply to serve on the coveted committee to coordinate all aspects of the event, including team logistics, fundraising and event planning.
Storm Stomp is a great way for high school girls to support their classmates and get involved right at the start of the school year.
