Support Sion

Get Involved

The Mission of Sion lives in our students as they become socially responsible and model values-based leadership to make a positive difference in our world. Everyone in the Sion community plays an important role in achieving these goals including students, faculty and staff, parents, alumni, alum parents, grandparents and other friends.

As a member of the Sion community, you are invited to participate in one or more of the many volunteer opportunities available for interested supporters. While a number of these activities support Sion’s fundraising needs others nurture and celebrate the special bond between parent and child. Social events bring together members of diverse groups to build community spirit at the school.

From volunteering in the lunchroom, joining a Sion Gala committee or joining the Sion Alliance, we encourage you to take the first step toward getting involved.

Sion ALLiance

As Sion welcomes our children, the ALLiance strives to help parents feel more connected to the school and to each other as the primary parent volunteer organization of the school. We help to organize and promote family events like the Back-to-School BBQ, Annual Book Fair, Parents Night-Out and Sion Family Spirit Nights with the kids, benefitting ALLiance
The ALLiance will help promote the wonderful work our teachers are doing with our children, whether through the Book Fair that provides support to our Library Book Collection, Treats at school concerts and Middle School Musical or the Battle of the Books in May. The Sion ALLiance monthly newsletter will continue to inform you about the calendar and news at school and Classroom Reps reach out frequently to remind parents about ALLiance-related events and class parties.
ALLiance supports our teachers at parent-teacher conferences with delicious lunches and applaud their work by coordinating the holiday bonuses in December and Teacher Appreciation week in May. We are excited about the school year to come.
