Over the years Sion students have made this event truly unique. Only at Sion could a basketball tournament mean that you play in your craziest team costume, paint your face, run relay races, and if there’s time, play a little basketball.

This 3-on-3 girls' basketball tournament is organized and managed by a student committee. The tournament is open to any 8th grade student in the city, and Sion High School students, alums and faculty. Money raised from community sponsorships and team registrations is placed in an endowed scholarship fund for financially qualified students.

Because of the enthusiasm of our students, the Storm Stomp Scholarship fund is growing, Sion is awarding financial assistance to qualified students, our school’s community spirit is reaching out to 8th grade students across the city and our own students have a blast participating in the tournament. Put your team together and don’t forget your costumes!
