Sion’s Annual Fund Drive to new heights!

On a mission to send a clear message that Notre Dame de Sion School is the best choice for education in Kansas City, the Annual Fund Drive Parent Representatives set out on a campaign to reach 100% school family participation in 100 Days for 100 years of Sion.  From October 13th to January 20th the parent representatives called, emailed and wrote every school family to educate them on the importance of their participation in the Annual Fund Drive.

  • In the private school world, high Annual Fund Drive participation percentages are the universal sign of support and are measured and reported to local and national institutions such as the National Association of Independent Schools. 
  • High family percentages tell prospective students and their families that Sion families feel “We made the right choice” in choosing Sion for their children.  
  • Annual Fund Drive gifts are used strengthen our academic programs, support our faculty, provide financial assistance and help Sion to meet daily needs.
  • Contributions are used to make up the difference between tuition and the actual cost of a Sion education, about $1,500 per student.

 

As of January 2012, 93% of Sion’s school families have participated in the Annual Fund Drive and two classes, 2nd and 3rd grade, have reached 100%. Sion has reached $234,000 of the $260,000 goal through gifts and pledges.  Few schools in the nation can boast of 100% and Sion’s 93% is 27 points higher than last year’s school family participation.

100% Board of Trustees participation, 100% Faculty/Staff participation and 93% school family participation makes a great case for support for the rest of our community. 

Alums, Parents of Alums, Grandparents and friends we need you to take us the rest of the way to reach our monetary goal and our goal to increase our participation among all constituent groups.


Donations can be made online.  To make your gift by mail, make your check payable to Notre Dame de Sion School and mail it to the address below.  Recurring Gifts or Electronic Funds Transfer payment options are also available.

REMEMBER: the end of Annual Fund Drive coincides with the end of Sion’s fiscal year on June 30th.  You have until that date to add your support to the 2011-2012 Annual Fund Drive.
