Clubs, Activities and Organizations

Going to school is much more than just being in class.  We strive to educate the whole person, by looking beyond the classroom walls. Notre Dame de Sion School's high school campus offers over 34 clubs, and 10 organizations that allow students to develop their talents, hone their leadership skills and expand their interests. Clubs and student organizations are great ways to become involved in Sion and make friends. Clubs are student led with a faculty moderator.

At the high school campus, Student Council is the student government body consisting of class representatives from each grade level. Participants are expected to attend weekly meetings, represent their class with dignity and professionalism, participate in fundraisers, orientations and mixers, and lead by example regarding participation at school events, conduct expectations and school policies.

Maisons

Students in our high school and middle school participate in multi-grade "maisons" or houses. Each high school maison consists of 12-15 students and a faculty advisor who meet regularly throughout the school year.

In the middle school, Maisons are led by two house captains who are elected at the beginning of the year. Students are awarded maison points throughout the year for their positive behaviors and actions which benefit the school community. At the end of the year, the house cup is awarded to the maison that has earned the most points. Students in the Rouge, Orange, Jaune, Verte, Bleu, and Violette houses proudly wear their house shirts on meeting days and compete to have their color emblazoned on the house cup.
