At our co-educational grade school, a Grandfriends Day is held just before the Thanksgiving Break. Students send personal invitations to their grandparents and special friends. The day’s activities include Grandfriends spending time in their student’s classroom engaging in special projects and a tour of the school. The day’s activities conclude with prayer service.
Father/Daughter/Grandfather Mass & Mother/Daughter/Grandmother Mass
At our all-girls’ high school, two annual events are held to acknowledge students’ families. On All Saints Day, fathers and grandfathers are invited to join their student at Mass followed by a reception. On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, mothers, grandmothers and mothers of alumnae are invited to join us at a Mass and reception.
Girls from grades 7-12th and their mothers enjoy an annual luncheon together that is held in the fall. Seniors and their mothers volunteer to participate in a fashion show. It is a fun day and a great way for moms to meet other moms and their daughters’ friends.
Father/Daughter Dinner Dance
Dads and daughters in grades 9-12 come together for a wonderful evening of dinner and dancing. This event is usually held in the winter. Always a memorable evening!
