Alice Munninghoff, Head of School

Mrs. Munninghoff is the Head of School and has served on Sion's faculty and administration team since 1979. She possesses a Bachelor of Science Degree in English and Education and has done graduate study in English. She also possesses a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Administration. Prior to becoming Head of School in 1990, she taught English at Sion, served as Dean of Students for eight years and was the high school Principal.

Michelle Olson, High School Principal

Mrs. Olson joined the Sion faculty as principal in 1993. She possesses a Bachelor of Science in Education, Master of Arts and Educational Specialist Degrees in Educational Administration. Michelle has taught Biological and Physical Science, Social Studies, Religion, coached four sports and has been a Student Council Moderator.

Catherine Butel, Grade School Principal

After serving two years as Sion's Pastoral Director, Mrs. Butel became the Grade School Principal in 1997. She has 30 years experience in teaching and pastoral ministry. Catherine has Masters Degrees in Christian Spirituality, History and Educational Administration with Administrative Licensure for Preschool through Grade 12.

Kay Walkup, High School Academic Dean & Mission Director

Mrs. Walkup joined the Sion faculty in 1981 and currently serves the school as Academic Dean and Mission Director. Kay attended Colorado College and the University of Kansas and possesses a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Education, and a Master of Science Degree in Guidance and Counseling. In addition to being Academic Dean, she held the position of Guidance Counselor for 20 years and has taught both English and French. She is currently Co-sponsor of the Interfaith Youth Alliance club.

Fran Koehler, Dean of Students

Mrs. Koehler joined the faculty in 1998 and serves the school as the Dean of Students. Prior to becoming the Dean, Fran served as the assistant to the Director of Admissions and then served as the Director of Admissions for seven years. Fran is also co-moderator of Student Council. She has her MA degree from St. Louis University.

Eileen Crowe Johnson '79, Director of Finance

Mrs. Johnson joined the Sion staff as Director of Finance in 2001. Eileen graduated from Sion in 1979 and then attended University of Missouri - Columbia receiving an B.A. in Economics. After working in the banking industry for several years, she returned to school and received an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Accounting from University of Missouri - Kansas City. She is a CPA and worked in public accounting for eleven years before returning to Sion.

Celeste Migliazzo Greenlee '78, Director of Institutional Advancement

Mrs. Greenlee is the Director of Institutional Advancement and has worked in Sion's Advancement Department for over nine years. She started as an Advancement Associate, then became the Director of the Capital Campaign and currently is the Director of Institutional Advancement. Celeste received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas. She is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE). Celeste is also a Notre Dame de Sion graduate, Class of '78.

Emily Dittmeier Taylor '94, Director of Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Public Relations

Mrs. Taylor is the Director of Enrollment Management, Marketing, and Public Relations and began working at Sion in 2006. Emily is a graduate of the high school. Emily attended Truman State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration. In addition to her current role, Emily held the position of Director of Admissions for the High School. She is the sponsor of the Student Ambassador Organization.
