Parent Organizations

Whether you are a parent at the high school or the elementary school there is a place for you to get involved! The school encourages parents to stay active in the lives of their children through their school. Many parents build life-long friendships with the other parents they meet at the different activities. To learn more about some of the clubs Sion offers, check out one of the categories listed below.

Sion ALLiance

* Sion ALLiance – is a parent/teacher organization for parents of students in the Montessori through Grade 8
* All parents/guardians are included and meetings are held during the year
* Officers are elected by the membership
* The ALLiance provides opportunities for parents/guardians and teachers to get to know one another and work together for the betterment of the school
* Sub-committees include: Athletic Boosters, Beautification, Hot Lunch, Parent Ambassadors, Social, Sion Shop
* Coordinates hot lunch program and donate profits back to school
* Coordinates Sion community activities: book fair, family fun night, picnics

Mothers' Club at the High School

The Mothers'Club at the High School promotes cooperation between the parents and the faculty, works jointly in the interest of the students and preserves the present high standards, both scholastic and spiritual. This group provides many things to our school from organizing the hot lunch program, hostessing college rep visits for juniors and seniors to meeting weekly for a prayer service. They provide a great way to get involved and meet other parents of your daughters’ friends while she is a student here at Sion. Once your daughter graduates you can get involved in the alum program where you can meet with other moms and do something fun!

Sion Shoppe
The Sion Shoppe offers clothing, bags, cups and many other items that show your Sion spirit! You may also purchase the Simply Sensational Sion Deux Cookbook there. Stop by the Shoppe in the new Commons area or you may shop online. Regular store hours are posted online and gift certificates are also available in any denomination

Fathers' Club at the High School

The Fathers' Club at Sion provides an opportunity for the dads to meet new friends and become involved with their daughter’s school experience. There are several functions throughout the year that reinforces the strong bond between dads and daughters such as:

Athletic Booster Club

The purpose of this club for both Moms and Dads is to support Notre Dame de Sion’s sports-related programs at the High School. This club provides many things for the school such as:

• Help at concessions for home games
• Help at the gate for admission to home games
• Help at the annual Christmas Basketball Tournament held at Sion
• Volunteers for the Spring Flower Sale – a fundraiser held every spring for the athletic department

Fine Arts Booster Club - FAB

The Fine Arts Boosters is a parent organization dedicated to promoting all areas of visual and performing arts at Notre Dame de Sion School. By helping to promote, publicize, plan and carry out the plans for music, drama, graphic arts and debate/forensics, the Fine Arts Boosters aim to emphasize the importance of these dimensions of a Sion education and to support the teachers and students in their endeavors.
