Annual Fund Drive

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating each Notre Dame de Sion student. Sion is affiliated with its founders, the Congregation of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Sion and with the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph, but as a private institution, we receive no funds from these organizations, or from the city, county or state. Therefore, we must rely on fundraising to help bridge this funding gap - a gap that is approximately $1,200 per student for the 2007-2008 school year.
The Annual Fund Drive is Sion's ongoing fundraising effort in support of operational expenses and student financial assistance. It corresponds with our fiscal year, beginning in the fall and continuing through June 30th, 2008. This year's Annual Fund goal is $185,000. The entire Sion family - alumns, current parents, alum parents, faculty and administration, corporations, and friends of Sion - is asked to participate. And remember - no gift to the Annual Fund is too small - and certainly none is too large!
