1. •The exterior walls on the east, north and south side of the building will be refinished to expose the red brick and a curtain wall will replace the large windows that constitute the upper half of the outside wall.  Each classroom will have smaller, energy efficient windows that allow for air conditioning of the first floor classrooms.


  1. •The east end of the first floor will be renovated to add an additional four classrooms.  This will allow us discontinue use of the North Campus facility for the Foreign Language classes. 


  1. •All classrooms on the first floor will be completely renovated -- this means new paint, new flooring, individually controlled heating/air conditioning units, new windows, new exterior walls, and new technology (including permanent sound/projection equipment). 


  1. •Existing lockers and the first floor hallway will be painted to match the color scheme in the New Grande Salle and previously renovated classrooms. 


  1. •In the next phase of our Building on Excellence Capital Campaign, we will renovate the front entry to the school, add additional office space, and build a new Chapel that will allow for grade level Masses.  Until we begin that phase, and so that we can accommodate staff members who will lose their office space during the summer renovation, we will lease two mobile classrooms that will be placed on the west side of the New Grande Salle.  These classrooms will be air conditioned and equipped with the same technology as in the other classrooms. 


  1. •Construction will begin in May so that it is completed in time for the beginning of school in August.  Summer classes and camps will continue as planned.

As a result of our successful Building on Excellence Capital Campaign, we are very excited to announce the next phase of renovation projects for Notre Dame de Sion High School.  During the summer of 2008, we will be hard at work making the following improvements to the Wornall Campus:
